AADHIKAR means RIGHTS
It is a trans Asian word. AADHIKAR is a word that is present in many Asian languages and it means the same thing, with only very slight or very minor variations in the applications. Its particular phonetic identity was created and then introduced into the English language and vocabulary in December 1980 by Muhammad Haque while founding the weekly AADHIKAR, published from London on 19 December 1980.

You could hardly be surprisedYou could not, could you!Dare not be surprised!Here was the emblem of civilisationDefying all evidenceThis emblem of civilisationSpoke volumesAgainst you and your kindHow could you even contemplate!How could you not knowThat you would not beAllowed to do what you intended to doThat you would be out of your mindTo intend what you did intendDoingThat you should be takingA walk down the roadAnd in fact conspireWith yourselfTo go into the shopAnd plot against all decencyto actually choose some itemsAnd then, as if that were notOutrageous enoughYou in fact put those itemsIn a shopping basketAnd then - what on earth were you thinking!You incredibly approached the checkout counterAndIt could not get any worse could it,You actually put your hand in your pocketAnd, attempted, yes, attemptedTo bring out what distinctly lookedLike a wallet, stuffed full of Currency notes As if you were about to offer some moneyTo the checkout staff…
